  1. I was just joking about the banning.
  2. If you don't want to be banned, I suggest you don't post. By the way, guess who the foul was called on in this play? If you guess Luis Scola, then you are right! This is how the series is being called....it is ugly ball to the extreme. Oh, and ESPN has caught on: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...e=thomas/080428
  3. Don't see how you can compare a big development like the Waterlight District to small strip centers. Retailers would located easily into a development like WD over a strip center down away from the freeway.

CO doesn't need a big merger like that. A smaller one like Alaska Airlines would be fine. Then, expand into Asia from those West Coast hubs they get.
  5. The W is opening in Houston. No way the developer would have the W sign and stuff in the renderings. There was a Chronicle article on this development, too.
  6. Been pushed back another year. It first said 2008, then 2009, then 2010, and now 2011.
  7. I have no idea. The last time Houston released ETJ near Katy was for Katy Mills Mall. I think Katy had to pay a small fee or something. I doubt Houston would want to annex any of the suburban communities like Cinco Ranch, so I have no idea why the ETJ is still there.

Smart move Continental. I just could not see them merging and having the HQ, colors, and name changed.

It came out late last night if you didn't know. I read it yesterday when it came out. You didn't say anything on the article about CO possibly leaving, which came out days ago. And your explanation on Compaq is pretty weak.

Well, it does not look like CO/United merger is a done deal (or even close). A article I read said that a US Airways/United merger is more likely and a MUCH easier merger. That, and American and Continental are going to setup an alliance, so CO could not merge with United. The fact that Continental has said themselves that they would rather stay independent, shows that the merger is less likely. United has not said that they would rather stay alone, so a US Airways merger looks more likely. Here is the article: http://www.reuters.com/article/ousiv/idUSN2531898820080426 By the way, could you explain what happened after Enron and Compaq left?
  11. Oh I hate that. I would like it if the "white paper" by the date of the post would be red or something (indicating that it is a new post). Something vBulletin has.
  12. I wish HAIF... had a forum re-order/redesign, to make it less confusing on where to post what. For example Going Up! Maybe there should be a subforum called "Going Up: Suburban/Regional development" for those developments like Vintage Park and stuff that are in the Going Up section.

Time to cry (this is from SSP, posted by a Chicago poster): http://www.ft.com/cms/s/60f9ff18-1328-11dd...;nclick_check=1
  14. Houston City Council (or whoever), release your damn ETJ that you know you will not annex. I'm out for the night.
  15. It was all sweep after the Jazz beat Houston twice. No one thought Houston could win in Utah.
  16. At least this win will make me sleep easier. If they lost I would probably have gone to sleep pretending to punch Kirilenko's face to a pulp. Hell, I still might think about that before I go to bed. Great win Rockets! Carl Landry needs to keep playing like this. He looked like the Carl Landry from earlier in the season.
  17. Crazy if they drove that far. Maybe they were streetviewing the entire way.
  18. I see where I went wrong... I saw this article that said the GRB is totaled at 933,000 square feet. A quick look at Wikipedia, and it says 1.8 million square feet. This is really trippin me out.
  19. Yeah, I see what you are saying. The GRB just seems undersized to me, with no room to expand.
  20. Those street could dip and go under right? They don't even have to dip. The center can be built over them.
