    there's a lot of that sense of entitlement coming from mexico. you don't see chinese, arabs indians or russians demanding that the US cater to them in their native languages but god damn, just about everything is bilingual english/ spanish now. you should have told her that americans should move to mexico and refuse to adopt spanish and demand that the mexican government accommodate them in english.

    you shouldn't forced to speak any language but if you want to function in the united states, it should be in english. rather than businesses and governments bending over backwards to cater to those who flat out refuse to learn english. when in rome....

    this is why houston sucks. no value on anything of historical or cultural significance. this is why this one of the most generic and nondescript cities in the country. houston is an example where money dictates the urban fabric.

    late for work (as always) and was on westheimer headed to work and was listening to 96.5 (the morning DJ's before roula and ryan came about) talking about an accident with 1WTC, called my mother to turn TV on and a few minutes later, the second plane hit.

    the employees at houston camera exchange are haute at anyone they suspect is not a uber professional photographer and the employees at wolf/ ritz camera don't know what professionalism is.
