  24. Houston Chronicle published an update today regarding Tesseract / 5Tesseract. The restaurant is chef Billy Kin's casual izakaya concept. It opens to the public December 28. Initially going by the name Tesseract, the restaurant was announced in 2021. It's located at 3119 White Oak Dr. 5Tesseract is adjacent to Kin's omakase concept 5Kinokawa. From Houston Chronicle: 5Tesseract, at 3119 White Oak in the same building as 5Kinokawa, is Kin’s take on an izakaya, a Japanese bar where customers snack on small dishes and drink after work or deep into the night. Unlike 5Kinokawa, which seems almost hidden despite its location on a busy stretch of White Oak, the bar is filled with natural light. One wall is covered with a curtain that opens out to the sidewalk along Oxford Street. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/food-culture/restaurants-bars/article/5-tesseract-japanese-izakaya-bar-opening-18562148.php
