  1. Plans for 1111 Rusk St, Ste 147 were approved for permitting in January. According the permit, work on the space is for a retail buildout. 1111 Rusk St, Suite 147 is located at The Star. Below is a screenshot of the plan review inspection report.
  2. A plan reviewing fee permit was purchased last September for 1111 Rusk St, Suite 147. The unit is shown in retail marketing material for The Star as Space D.   3. The Houston Chronicle article announcing the debut of Federal American Grill is linked below. The restaurant opened to the public last week. It's located at 1221 McKinney St, Suite G-100. I'm assuming the proposed subdivision plat Equilent 2401 could be in preparation for the possible construction of charging stations for electric cars (EV charging stations). @HNathoo speculated as much in a topic pertaining to two downtown properties Equilon Enterprises LLC and Shell Oil Products US LLC own. The entities purchased 208 Main St and 214 Main St earlier this year. HNathoo's guess is it will probably become an EV charging station. As HNathoo and @hindesky have observed, Equilon Enterprises and Shell Oil Products US have acquired several inner loop properties within the last year. This includes the acquisition of 216 Tuam and 220 Tuam last fall.
  5. According to the city's Plat Tracker map, a proposed subdivision plat named Swan Terrace was submitted to the city in 2015. It seems developers were planning to build townhomes or some kind of residences on the properties. County records; however, indicate Equilon Enterprises LLC and Shell Oil Products US acquired the properties in November. In addition to warranty deed records, there is also a record of a termination of common area agreement filed in November. The agreement discontinues previous arrangements for the creation "of a homeowner association...to provide for general maintenance and upkeep of designated common areas on the premises... as commonly provided for residential property." The document also states "Equilon intents to replat and develop the premises as commercial property." Plat Tracker lists the applications status as awaiting completeness. According to the Plat Tracker guide, the designation means "the application and/or documents did not meet Plat Tracker criteria or required documents are missing," according to the Plat Tracker guide. The subdivision name of the proposed plat is Equilent 2404.

  10. Late August has an opening date. Houston Chronicle reports the restaurant will open to the public next week on March 25. The restaurant is the latest dining concept from Lucille's Hospitality Group. It's located on the ground floor of the Ion at 4201 Main St, Suite 120.   11. 4309 Washington Ave is located an 0.05 acre parcel between Thompson St and Snover St. It's a grassy, vacant lot next to several townhomes on Thompson St. The grassy lot is also comprised of the following parcels at: 4311 Washington Ave (0.04 acres) 4313 Washington Ave (0.04 acres) 4315 Washington Ave (0.04 acres) 4317 Washington Ave (0.05 acres) Combined, the parcel total 0.22 acres. A block from these properties is Laredo Taqueria. The restaurant is located at 915 Snover St.

  13. 1132 E 11th St was sold in December. According to records submitted to the county clerk's office, the proprietor of Magnol / Magnol French Baking acquired the property. As discussed in another topic, Magnol owns the former Andy's Home Cafe property at 1115 E 11th St. The property was purchased last summer. It's possible 1132 E 11th St will be utilized for the bakery's parking.

  17. First of all, I agreed with your previous post. Second of all, I touched on a few complaints from some who've visited the forum. Some of those issues voiced have either deterred some from returning to the site or staying on the site longer out of frustration, per their own words. I've come across these complaints on Houston Reddit site, various Facebook groups, Nextdoor, and other online communities and apps. But all of this is off topic, which I'm guilty of doing so. Perhaps we should stay on topic. A post above mentions this site is on the market. Does anyone have further details?
  18. The 12,096-square-foot parcel at 1132 E 11th St sits on approximately 0.27 acres. The parcel consists of two lots. I'm uncertain where in the Greater Heights 1132 E 11th St is located. It may be in the Norhill neighborhood. Please correct me if I'm wrong. On the property is a 1,180 sf building. According to HCAD records, the building was constructed in 1950. Adjacent to 1132 E 11th St is 1050 Studewood St, where pizza restaurant The Gyspy Poet is located. Hogg Middle School is across the street at 1100 Merrill St. Also across the street from this property is Bicycle Speed Shop at 1123 E 11th St and a commercial building at 1125 E 11th St.

  20. I would like to know too. Amsterdam Cocktail Co. operated here. The bar is closed. Whether the closure is temporary or not, I don't know.
