I'd disagree. If you live in the woodlands or conroe, suck it up and drive to Huntsville. They already live in BFE, at least the students at SFA have an excuse to be up there.

I don't see a reason why the airport should be connected at all. They could just as easily FLY to dallas if they're at an airport (unless for some reason either airport shuts down for weather), Huntsville is really the only reasonable stop along the way and its mostly because of the University there.

Kinda' makes me wonder if those tables are bolted down. If there is any metal in them they're gone!

I was next door and thought how annoying the were with the live band. Give minutes later a cop showed up and ordered then to quiet it down. Someone from there was trying to persuade the officer about something, but it did not work.
-
That might also be true. I also noticed that they were in the process of deconstructing those old homes on AoA as well, but I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

Didn't really think this needed a new thread for this. But I drove by and discovered that the locomotive is being moved! Does anyone know if they're just moving it out of the way from the Rail construction? How ironic. Thought I'd take some uncluttered photos of this beauty.

Oy. Yeah, found out recently that the Crowne Plaza @ the southwest freeway is referred to as "Crowne Plaza at River Oaks." I almost stopped my reservation on principle alone.

I don't know. I can not only hate a sport, but I'd help form a posse to lynch them. dog and cock(Rooster!) fighting would be a good example of some sports this planet can do without.

Was driving by when I saw these interesting items in white. I'm assuming they are building the framework for the exterior, or IS this part of the exterior?

well, I did notice ONE new thing that was changed. From what I've seen, they have changed the type of lights that are up there. They kinda' look like LED's, I'm not sure.

am I looking at this right? Isn't the Quizno's going to go away? My main issue is how traffic control is going to be handled. From what I can there there will only be so many amount of places where they can come and go there. Maybe I'm overlooking it, but I don't quite see how 18-wheelers can get there for deliveries, but they will probably just do the big box trucks. Oy, this is going to be interesting during christmas.

Pizza in Houston
ricco67 replied to Nakatosh's topic in Houston Area Dining, Shopping and Entertainment
I think Pizza taste is more subjective as to the type you actually want. Franks is always awesome for a quick bite to eat and something fresh. Star's is also great when you want something thick. Then again, in a pinch there's always pizza hut and customize the heck out of it. -
Good lord, Noel. Keep your car cold enough? You've got quite a bit of fogging going on.

Citigroup had some pretty nice digs. I wonder if BG's offer was VERY competitive or if they just were unhappy with the galleria.

Here are two of the photos that I took. The tracks laid out for the south east line wasn't very accessible.

Ruby Tequila's Mexican Kitchen At 2616 Louisiana St.
ricco67 replied to fatesdisastr's topic in Midtown
Wow. That was fast! I would have figured there wouldn't be an issue like that a year or so down the road, particularly since they've been doing fairly well. Google is your friend. -
Well, I just drove by it last night, it looked like the interior has been totally demo'ed. There has been additional equipment brought to the area and is parked to that other empty piece of land next to it, so I don't know what's going on.

As of yesterday, they took down the crane. Unfortunately, I missed it.

Aw man! You'd figure it would be a little more cost effective to have a sale. Then again, that might cannibalize sales from the other spec stores.

Yeah, it is a bit on the harsh side, but I hope that they will take care of that AFTER all the (with Light rail AND the campus )construction is done in that area.

What I MEANT to say is that I love STAR on Shepherd, but I like Fuzzy's at the I-10 location. They're both awesome for deep dish.
