    Well Houston has always had stores, I can remember Gucci, and many others. To say recently, because of the new extension of the Galleria, there is more variety of luxury stores. Even "Hip Stores" Like Urban Outfitters have 3 locations around town, in the Galleria, Rice Village, and the Woodlands. I am glad to see more of them pop up everywhere, in-cluding the Galleria. I do like some of the new stores, but mostly not, because most appeal to the female crowd. But knowing people with (just a little bit of) money have more of a variety, is very nice indeed.

    I think its really cool, how Houston has multi-colored buildings to tie into our skyline, more then any other I would suppose. (in a Downtown Area)

    Has anyone ever been? if so, please share your story. I love how it looks, its almost like a graceful southern plantation, but better.

    That they where planning to build? It was big, had a round end, semi-green ish, and it had a bell tower, that was really tall. Anyone remember?

    One time I had a meeting on the 75th floor of the Chase Tower (It was a travle angency) and I could see the shores of Galveston!

    Any news on the new hotel? What company is building it? Holiday Inn, Ramada, is it going to be the "franchise" hotel? or a High-rise? Whats in store for Katy's future?

    The Toyota center may seem not so big on the outside, but people don't realize is that it sinks into the ground like the Astrodome and the Compaq Center. Thats why the Astrodome isn't so tall as the Reliant Stadium. I think its a real good idea with the Hilton putting pedestrian bridges across to the convention center and the arena. I wonder what someone will do with the patch of grass next to it? I hope somone builds a little pond/reflecting pool/park there.
