  1. "The work of Kevin Daly Architects, Productora of Mexico City and TLS Landscape Architecture, this modern structure will launch a new era for the endowment, which just finished moving from its longtime office space on the 64th floor of the JPMorgan Chase Tower. One more in a series of modern office and residential towers, this new Houston Endowment is a signal that — at least architecturally — Houston has taken another big step into a new age." https://www.houstonchronicle.com/lifestyle/home-design/article/Houston-Endowment-building-17487069.php
  2. Based on this render it looks like 8-10' of landscaping next to the curb, +-8' sidewalk and about 5' of more landscaping. Also the main driveway is on Lovett St.
  3. All buildings are down and being loaded out. 20th St. is under construction and closed to traffic so trucks are having to use 21st St. which is super narrow.
  4. Looks close to opening. Hand railings are staged in two areas but not yet by the culvert. Worker is roughing up the concrete for the center stripe paint.
  5. Saw a guy waiting in the parking lot, turns out he is overseeing this project for Fairfield and was waiting for a fence company to enclose the lot. He said this will be a 5 story wrap around a 7 story parking garage that will be cast-in-place. He is hopping to not use a tower crane due to the limitations of Oliver St. being very narrow. Edit: Demo is supposed to start late November or early December.

  9. “We have done things this luxe but not residential and these residences will be luxe,” Tellepsen adds. “There’ll be nothing like them in the sky. They’re the largest, most luxurious, most well thought-out units and homes that we’ve ever seen in the Houston market.” https://www.papercitymag.com/society/1661-tanglewood-high-rise-houston-unveils-luxury-sales-center/

  12. Cougar Grounds, the University of Houston’s student-run coffeehouse at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership, has moved to a new location that’s twice the size of the original. The move is part of a $30 million expansion and renovation of the University’s Hilton hotel that will see the addition of a new five-story, 70-room tower (currently scheduled to open in February 2023). The cafe serves coffee, pastries, and more to between 100 and 200 people per hour, according to a release. https://houston.culturemap.com/news/restaurants-bars/food-news-roundup-fogo-de-chao-baybrook-clutch-city-cluckers-spring-superica-lunch/
