  1. Lighten up cupcake, it was a joke.
  2. Wait, if this ain't the pot callin' the kettle "black". One man complains about the noise, and Fiesta turns tail. Now, we got one woman complaining and expecting Fiesta to bow to her will with a threat of a boycott? Perhaps not everyone fancies the MAM's snocone as you do ? Of course, I am just messin' with ya. The man is obviuosly a lunatic. Perhaps you could find some housing for him on your "acreage" and Fiesta could enjoy life from here on out ?
  3. Hmmmmm, Type 1 diabetes AND Osteoporosis ? http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2009/0...s_her_foot.html
  4. Bubba: Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it. ANYWHO! Here's the joint you want. Should meet all your criteria. http://www.ralphandkacoos.com/ The blackened shrimp should make you drink plenty of Hurricanes.
  5. In my experience, I have had a dishwasher replaced for the $50 call fee. An A/C compressor unit replaced, FREE of charge. I had my ext. warranty thrown in with the purchase of the house. In retrospect it seemed to be worth it. The only drawback I can see, is that you usually have to choose between the A/C being covered or the shingles on the roof.
  6. What to do with the Astrodome. Has ANYONE said "parking lot" yet ?
  7. Yes, and only about a mile or so from this place.
  8. I'll take THIS one on the Island of Maui. It is called, The Jewel of Maui. http://www.fabulous-homes.com/villa.aspx?villa=107565
  9. Champagne wishes and caviar dreams, 'Ol Chap !
  10. Then my original $40-$60 claim is where I will stay. If this were 1990 and he had just finished "Dances with Wolves" there would be some hard interest in your ball and would probably fetch $100 or more.
  11. Depends on when he signed it. Was it signed during the making of Bull Durham or when he was in Houston for Tin Cup ? How did you acquire the ball ? I used to collect alot of sports memorabilia, I would say Kevin Costner ball is worth about as much as a signed picture of him, so say $40 to $60 bucks. If you have a good story behind it, or a picture with him signing the ball, it could go for more.
  12. Best place I know of is on Grand Parkway just past Hwy.90 in Sugarland. I forget the name of the neighborhood, they have a HUGE front entrance with waterfountains and waterfalls. I can't remember driving by it one time without a photoshoot of some sort going on. LOL! NEW TERRITORY.........that's the neighborhood. So, that would be New Territory Blvd. @ Grand Parkway (99).
  13. Exactly, this too will pass.
  14. Marmer, perhaps we can get a button that posts......."FIRST!" also. BTW, thanks !
  15. Here's the new argument. Learn how to read a post correctly. LOL! You friggin' goof. I want to change a charge of "racist" to just plain ol' prejudice or biggotry on Sotomayor's part. "Racist" is a little extreme for her comments. It does seem she has a penchant for playing the race card though. BTW, anyone else notice that Nancy Pelosi has fallen out of the limelight since Sotomayor has become a hot topic ? Nice job drawing the attention away Obama.
  16. That explains a WHOOOOOLLLLLLLLEEEE lot !
  17. Geez Louise, in the future, don't hit the crackpipe before posting.
  18. The term "Activist Judge" comes to mind. Like I said wilson, she will do what it takes to enhance her agenda. She has been making race based lawsuits since Yale, now she gets to rule on them.
  19. It is obvious that she herself has made policy, whilest sitting upon her cat perch, or else she wouldn't know that is where "policy is made" and could make a statement like that. That is what she knows, and that is the danger she possesses to the Supreme Court. I am not saying she is a bad person, and I don't know that there is a better pick out there over her. She has plenty of experience, but it is how she might interpret the constitution to fit her agenda that is troublesome.
  20. You needed to hit the shower a long time ago pal. BTW, that wasn't HER quote, that would be the whiteman's that Obama would never nominate. ihop, did you see the youtube video I posted ? She said, "Court of Appeals is where policy is made." Hey what do you know, she is an Appeals Judge. ihop, I wil also change the whiteman's quote,"he is smarter than a Latina woman because of the life he has led, and that he believes POLICY is made from the bench."
  21. Soooo, if Obama had picked a whiteman, and said, "he is smarter than a Latina woman because of the life he has led, and that he believes POLICY should be made from the bench." You would be OK with that......right ?
  22. Porchman, he meant that as an oxymoron my brotha .
  23. Souter has been wanting out for awhile, but made it very clear that he was going to hang on until Bush was out of the White House.
  24. If that were the case and the press would go by qualifications, then in a perfect world, Obama would have never been in a position to appoint Sotomayor, now would he ?
  25. I'm glad to not be on the list. I have always considered myself a Lonewolf .
