  1. Can someone change the name of the thread? Urbannizer's post from January 24th (post #45) says 29 floors, not 28.
  2. Are you talking about the one called WestMont? If so, the picture in this Swamplot article looks like the one in the slide show. http://swamplot.com/apartments-and-retail-for-westheimer-and-montrose-corner-not-until-half-price-books-and-specs-scoot/2013-11-20/
  3. What's that building towards the left that's about 70% vacant? EDIT:I'm talking about post #300

  7. Red May even be faster (assuming the woodlands will want a stop there if if you go by the blue)
  8. Hi guys, my 13 year old nephew recently became interested in modern architecture. He asked me if I could help him try to find completions for his age group in the Houston area. Anything you guys know about?
  9. WOW! That's amazing. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen, I'm still excited for this.
  10. Is part of Main still going to be closed off to cars?
  11. Texas/Avenieda De Las Americas/Capitol/Milo Hamilton Way: a block away from minute maid, 4 from BBVA, and along the future green (or purple, not so sure) rail line.
  12. HAIF is not a place to only view what one person believes is "quality architecture". Though many will agree with you (including myself) that this building is rather bland, HAIF is also a place to criticize and give our thoughts on the structure, what ever it may be, not ask why we even mentioned it in the first place. If you feel like there is nothing spectacular about the building, that's fine, but if you feel that it shouldn't even be mentioned, than just don't post.
  13. Probably a stupid question...what's the tall white structure surrounding most of the park in the last picture?
  14. It's going to become theTexas version of the Statue of Liberty There are two topics on this, can a mod please merge them?
  15. The center is more like western Greenway plaza
  16. If someone wants a "true urban experience" in houston, they should move downtown.
  17. I think it'll be fine as long as they don't touch the other side of the building facing 59.
  18. I feel like the GRB makeover could be have an amazing "town (city) square" feel to it when (if) it happens.
