I just assumed that most of that kind of work like drawings etc happened in the various engineering offices. I've just never seen this many temporary offices set up before. Seems slightly overkill but makes sense

Are all those offices really necessary for the Marriot construction? Legit question

Actually they're both parking garages for the newly announced megatall going up in TMC.

You're making connections where there are none. Just because some of HAIF complains about the same type of glass box building (which they have a point) it doesn't mean that the old rendering is the savior of Houston's architecture. Everyone here against the new rendering is saying the first one LOOKED better. You're also being ignorant of other's opinions. What you might think looks great others might think looks like utter shiet, and vice versa. Don't just assume your viewpoint is higher than everyone else's.

Thought the view Triton posted was the garage at first. This sucks. Also Luminare the first rendering was nothing like what HAIF complains about. No idea where you pulled that one from

It says Phase 1. How many other phases can we expect and when can we expect them?

I don't think it's the soil that makes us not have basements, it's the constant flooding that keeps us from building them. Also we rarely have tornados like the rest of the nation does.

I'm probably wrong but since this area is under construction because of the light rail those might just be temporary for future light poles. Of course it's still pretty stupid they left them in the middle of the sidewalk...

Are all of the remaining segments planned to be tolls? I assume they are in order to get built but then there's segment D which is nice and free.

Try looking into this: http://www.webmproject.org/about/faq/ I don't know if HAIF can support it but it's basically HD video up to a few minutes long that loops like a gif.

I'm pretty sure this is what's going to eventually happen.
