What does the A. D. stand for? I emailed some of the people on their website, but I got no response. -
Williams Tower At 2800 Post Oak Blvd.

If I had half a billion dollars to through around, I'd buy it. Then I'd turn the top couple of floors into my home. But that's just pie in sky.- 359 replies

People have no regard for others any more. I hope that my calling this people on their behavior stops them from acting the same way in the future. To bad I'll never know. Oh well. I'll just keep yelling at them.
-
I don't go to the movies that much either. Most times the people are loud, there are brats running around, and I have to yell at people. Sad face for everyone. For The Mist, it was only my two friends and I. I do go to Alamo Drafthouse though. They're great because there are no kids allowed.
-
You better hurry. It looks like this week may be its last week in theaters. It's not exactly a blockbuster. Hurry.
-
The Mist was excellent. I saw it last night. It's 2 hours and 10 minutes long, and it flys by. My heart was pounding. Marcia Gay Hardin should get another Oscar. The ending is different than in the book, but Stephen King said the movie's ending is better.

You do realize that that was a joke, right?

One Park Place: Multifamily At 1400 McKinney St.
Saddleman replied to GovernorAggie's topic in Downtown
WOW! Take it down a notch. I simply commented on the posts that I see as OVERLY critical. Like the building is just not 'good enough' for Houston for whatever reason (roof or not glass or 'too 80's'). It's just a building. Most people don't and won't ever care. I personally like it. Flat roofs are so prolific in Houston that a few peaked roofs would be nice. And it is an architecture forum, and I'm participating in the criticism of architecture.- 989 replies

Seven little known Dubai facts
Saddleman replied to editor's topic in Meanwhile, In The Rest of the World...
They now have little machine on the camels' backs instead of little boys. The machine has a motor that turns a whip. The owners of the camels then race next to the track in their Land Rovers (or whatever vehicle) to watch the race and machine. Good for them. -

Sakowitz Department Store At 1111 Main St.
Saddleman replied to citykid09's topic in Historic Houston
I finally got to go to an American Apparel recently in Chicago. I'm sorry to say that it was unimpressive, to say the least. At first I thoght American Airlines had opened a ticket office, but then I realised American Apparel just uses the same font for their name.- 343 replies

I was both of those acticles. They're the reason I was wondering about possible euro-pricing.
-
It may not stop their demonization, but it puts a spotlight on it for everyone to see.

With the dollar falling and oil rising, are there any moves to price oil in euros instead?
