What I'm scared of is that it might be turned into distribution centers -.- since that is the main business of the immediate area.

I think those distribution centers, warehouses, and industrial properties will be redeveloped due to their location. I hope that Midway purchases the property, they did such a great job with redeveloping the Town and Country mall property into CityCentre.

WOW another Walmart.

WOW Hanover is quickly becoming my favorite developer with these towers they are throwing up. This one, the one at BLVD Place, the one on Montrose, and even the 12 story apartment building in the village. Im very impressed, Its nice to see a developer build a high-rise instead of the 5 story wrap that every one else is throwing up. I hope they still plan on building their condo high rise at BLVD Place. It would also be nice if they build a tower downtown. Im pretty sure that I read, a few months back, that they were looking at building a high rise downtown to take advantage of the incentives the city is offering.

I thought The next phase of Westave was going to be built on that property?

Could have have been a 30 story office building, a 30 story residential high-rise, and retail. Thanks City ofHouston for another 5 story apartment building.

That is going to look so out of place. I wish they would have stuck closer to the design of the other buildings in the area.

The Confidential "Build to Suit" inside the West Loop is the Amegy HQ. I am curious as to what Hines is building just outside of the Loop.

I believe that is the Apache buildings at BLVD Place.

This article states that demolition will take place in September. It also says that it will be a mid-rise.

However the purchaser may sell the property or change their plans to include office buildings as well.

That's a big site for a residential highrise

A large white event tent was erected on the property today by Aztec. It can be seen from the beltway. Also there has been a lot of activity on the site from excavators and bulldozers.

It's the block surrounded by Coulquitt, Lake St, W Main, and Kirby.

Yea I think they have something to do with Halliburton. They have been doing a lot of construction there these last few years. I believe the latest two buildings will be 6 Stories, one has already topped off at 6 stories.

Did they change the lay out of this project ? I thought the apartments were going on the south side of the property and the park was going to be on the north side of the property.
