I would like to change my #1.
Google directed me west on the beltway from 45 south, and then up 59 to Hilcroft, with turns into voss leading to San Felipe.
I have never for some reason driven this way my whole life. There were rad 80's buildings on both sides of the black top freeway, and heading north on 59 the Williams Tower looked so majestic I felt like I had seen it for the first time. Uptown was gleaming. I cannot describe it other than absolutely incredible.
So, #1 hands down is Uptown as viewed from 59 heading north from the beltway. Not on the on-ramp but on the actual freeway.
It also looks good from the westpark tollroad eastbound when returning from Chinatown. A similar perspective to 59, but elevated in a few more places, which allows for better ogling. And that little tunnel is kinda cool.
If you take the 59 downtown exit from westparkl toll eastbound, there is a big ramp with really nice view:

I'm confused by the orientation of the building to the road. Is that supposed to be Kirby in the rendering and they just left off the CVS and Express Lube lots?
It appears the renderings don't depict the proper location.

What happened to him - getting kicked off TV - was an injustice to him and to KHOU viewers.
Why was he kicked off?
edit-
N/m After googling him, this was the first link:

Snapped a few drive-by pics of the Underwood house today.
Seems to be cleaned up a little from the previous set of pics.
but it still stands.

I can barely work a camera, but Houston looks good nonetheless.

Any updates on construction? I'd snap a pic myself if I weren't in DC

I like the location. One of my favorite parts of town. Chinatown needs a nice hotel for me to crash at after a long night of after hours drinking at the game rooms.

This would become one of my favorite developments in the city. But after 9 years, seems like zero chance it gets built.

Not much really, but there is a crane.

n/m. The variance sign on the empty lot was for Yoakum Enclave. a 3 story office building.

unless they changed their mind about what to build here.

Actually google street view shows the variance sign on the empty lot.

Yeah hopefully this is going in the vacant lot and not replacing the prairie mansion on the other side of the street.
The address is 4520. Are even numbers on the east or west?

I don't care what evils companies do, as long as they keep building purty buildings for me to ogle.

It seriously looks like a parking garage. This sucks.
To me, it looks kinda like a hospital.

According to a resident at 2016 Main, the Visitor Parking Lot will be replaced with an 11 story apartment building.
Environmental work to start at the end of June.
