What has happened to Ron since the incident? Is he still working for the station?

The Crossing at Kirby is no more. It looks as though the entire property is cleared.
This pic is a few weeks old. I'll get some new ones next time I'm out and about.

I'm excited about this but it sure looks like the Whitco and the Soverign mated and gave birth to this. Anybody else agree?
Most of the newer residential towers look alike to me.

I wonder if we are looking at Prairie and Austin or Texas and La Branch? If Texas and La Branch, those are significant shade trees on the Texas side that would be lost so they can have a suburban-style entrance drive. If Prairie and Austin, I just hope they don't leave a dull façade on Texas.
The other rendering shows the orientation.

quote from somewhere else on the internet:
Houston had the following Cable Companies in the 80's
1. Warner-Amex (which owned QUBE) Qube was the name of the first two-way cable box)
2. Storer Cable (Pasadena, Clear Lake, Spring which also received Warner later on)
3. TCI (Lake Jackson, Freeport, Jones Creek got bought out by Cablevision) (Now served by Comcast)
4. Jones-Spacelink (served Rosenburg, and scrambled MTV via phone line)
5. Phonoscope (out in the rural areas, I think Verizon took them over) -
