They should encourage people to park at Fannin South and take the train. Seems much simpler for those coming from out of the city.

, reduce the speed limit etc.
Or actually enforcing current speed limits.
-
where is Houston's new supertall?
It was sliced, diced, and spread out amongst the burbs.
-
From their site since no completed pics were ever on HAIF.

Click 'More Reply Options' button. Under the message box it should say 'Attach files'. Under that, click the browse button, then browse your files until you find the one you are looking for, select it, then click open. Then click 'Attach this file'.
It should now be there when you submit your post.
I prefer to upload my pics to photobucket or flikr, then copy and paste the link.

With the exburban office boom and the Grand Parkway there is bound to be new neighborhoods, big box stores, master planned communities, apartment complexes ,and strip malls that will pop up even furhter out. I've been wondering when does it stop?
Will the growth have a major impact on ecosystems and the environment?
Does Houston need an Urban Growth Boundary?
Where should it's boundaries be?
When should it be implemented?

I thought I saw the base of a crane there, but it was new years eve and it was dark and i was tipsy.
Why would they have a crane before they demo'd the old building?

Houston sign code
Section 4609 (E)(1)and(2)
Starts on page 38 of the document.
No signs over 42.5 feet unless:
the building is the company's headquarters and they occupy more than 45% of the floorspace of a building that is at least 750000 sqare feet, then you can put your logo on the building. but it has to be a continous image,no blinking or animation.

We need more police on the freeways and roads to enforce the current laws and limits. It's crazy out there.
I go weeks without seeing a cop on the freeways and I commute all the way to Clear Lake.

I will have a pretty good view of this from my office. Right behind the new apartment complex Yorktown too.
So, is it safe to assume that we will all have a view of this from your office?
-
So far away.

Get over it and embrace whatever is being built.
No.

Well the building went vertical today. There are several steel rebar columns about 14 feet or so in the air attached to the dug up 'rectangles' in the photo above. Driving too fast today to snap a pic, but if I get a red light tomorrow I'll upload a pic.
Dude. Pull in Mcdonalds and snap a pic. Please.
