Great news.
i guess that they only missed opening for the Super Bowl by a lil’ bit.
At least they have the 2018 nba finals and world series to look forward to.

My roommate was a cook there at the time of hurricane Rita. It's where we got the ice for our keg.

5000 employees. 95% of the current employees are temporary, making 9$ an hour, and no benefits. many of the employees at the location on 11th st depend on the bus. Maybe they will get raises big enough to afford cars for the new commute.

high maintenance is relative.
Fertilize a few times per year and prune them once a year and you'll be alright.
Just make sure to plant varieties that are suitable for the region. don't buy fruit trees from the big box stores. Get them from the local nurseries that will provide you with the best varieties for the region and can give you useful information (Maas nursery, the Arbor gate, Shades of Texas, etc..) Unlike lowes that might sell you a plum tree that requires 900 chill hours, or a hass avacado that will likely never produce fruit. and the employees have no information about how to take care of it.
A good resource for fruit trees in Houston area: http://urbanharvest.org/fruits
Also January is fruit tree sale season. many of the local extension agencies will be having their fruit tree sales.

Current obsession. It's dark and very slightly reminds me of Mazzy Star. I know that may seem far fetched considering the artist... But it does.
I was taken aback hearing her cover Tame Impala on the album.
