NRP Group is developing a 4-Story and 326-Unit multifamily project in the Energy Corridor. https://www.nrpgroup.com/ Apparently it's the old Kickerillo family mansion. http://www.city-data.com/forum/houston/2850981-rumor-mill-what-will-built-site.html The Kickerillo family mansion, a 12000+ sq feet 1970s contemporary sitting on several acres of land at the west end of Memorial Drive, has just been demolished after flooding badly during Harvey (the entire property sits within the 500-year floodplain).

370 units. "The project calls for 370 one- or two-bedroom units in a development would feature a parking garage and five live-work units."

Pearl is really banking on Midtown. I think this brings the total count to 4 possible Pearl complexes in the area.

The Star is now being managed by The Morgan Group. I believe this is the same org that handles all of the various Pearl apartment buildings around town. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts about this company? (Staff says that The Star was sold to Morgan, but the official announcement only says the management was changed. I don't know which is true.)

I heard they are going to demo that 'landmark' building to pave way for mixed-use development. Anyone has any info on that development?

I noticed someone putting up some fencing around this property this morning. The northern section was demoed a few months back. The property is now owned by YALE & I 10 PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LLC, which looks to be related to or controlled by this guy: www.caspian-enterprises.com.

I wanted to bring this topic out of the Greenway Commons thread. How are the tenants of this apartment? Given the building is 13 years old, how is it holding up? I drive by this building multiple times a week. It's a great location. Website: https://www.33thirtythree.com/

Houston Housing Authority pays Morgan Group for the development of the apartments. "Located at or about" somehow I think it would be in the empty lot.

So, I just heard from someone this afternoon that the entire block bounded by Bammel, Sackett, Earl and Philfall is under contract with Borlenghi. No confirmation if that is who actually has it under contract (I hope so) but supposedly the tenants have until the end of the year to vacate. This is the block of bungalows that have been used for years as offices. Would be a great location for a highrise. Can someone confirm?

This site is now under contract per hfflp's website. Here's hoping it's a highrise and breaks ground soon https://www.hfflp.com/PropertiesOnMarket/PropertySearchResults.aspx?MSA=Houston,%20TX

Per the chron.com site, Hines has purchsed the Cafe Adobe site on Westheimer. I am assuming this also includes the surface lot across the street. To me, this site is too small for the typical 4-5 story apartment complex wrapped around structured parking. Could Hines be going vertical with an apartment high rise? http://blog.chron.co...eimer-property/

I found this project after looking through Emporis located at http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=faulkn...-houston-tx-usa Found it in a bizjournal article also.. http://houston.bizjournals.com/houston/sto.../08/story2.html In addition, a limited liability company connected to Austin-based FaulknerUSA Inc. has taken title from Joseph DeBakey to a three-acre tract next to the 31-story Dominion apartment tower, near the Galleria Mall. The 2525 McCue site is home to the 43-year-old Marquee Apartments, which are currently being torn down. No renderings anywhere.. This might be listed under a differnt name, but if it is atleast somebody can update Emporis. If this is posted somewhere else plz move thanks =) Thanks, c4smok

I'm guessing this will be multi-family, considering the company. They are also listed on the Planning Commission Planning Agenda for 4/14. The "company" listed is Brown & *** Engineers, the Developer, The Morgan Group. http://www.morgangroup.com/

I've seen some discussion of the new condos planned a block away at the NEC of Bettis and Bancroft, but I haven't heard anything about this site yet. The adjacent mini-storage building on San Felipe is still standing. It would be a shame to hide a nice new development behind such an inferior land use. What's the scoop?

Does anyone know the story with the large parcel of cleared land on Washington (about the 3900 block - between Yale & Bonner?) next to the Credit Union? There's an 18-wheeler prominently displayed on the corner of the property that I think says "MORGAN" and then has the names of a few cities (I think they are all Texas cities, if I remember correctly) - is Morgan a construction company? More than likely, it's more HHN homes, but I'm crossing my fingers it's a grocery store...

I drove by this place today(36sixty). Would you happen to know when the office is open, or a phone number or web address. The only thing I saw on the building was a now leasing sign.

Right now on the norteast corner od Richmond and Edloe there's a building being torn down. It was a pretty nondescript late modern office building. I've hear the site will become residential. Anyone know anything? This would be a phenomenal site for high-density, non-townhome housing.
