The Pragmatist
I can't wait to see the impact this has on views from the northeast. It should command a lot of visual attention. Coming in on 59 North, both this and the Market Square tower are very prominent already.

brijonmang
Thank you very much! To be honest I got to bed a little late and overslept a bit (thanks alcohol) but glad I got out there early enough for the shots.

enriquewx91
I would be happy with just a 30-40 story building there, but that's just me. I don't see a supertall in our future for the next maybe 10-15 years, my thought is if we do get it it'll be a residential tower. hindesky
Wait when did they replace the Citgo sign? Not a fan of the new look. Not sure when, but I know people wanted better vista's of downtown so they took some down to clear the view. BayouBoomtown
Not sure when, but I know people wanted better vista's of downtown so they took some down to clear the view. I'm talking about the sign that says Oxy now. It's always been Citgo in the past.
monarch
^^^ urbannizer, those new illustrations are simply unbelievable! they are rich in detail and gorgeous. however, many of us were under the impression that MMP was restructuring their in-park signage to create a better aesthetic or overall downtown view for their patronage. why is there a new GIGANTIC OXY sign??? isn't this a bit strange.... H-Town Man
Houston based oil company > Venezuela's national oil companyBut yes, I do like the Citgo logo for its history and familiarity, and thought the change was jarring. Also makes me think of a certain facial medication...
