Jax
Okay I found the construction company. The sign said "Rampart Construction" and I looked them up. They mention Oasis on their website but there isn't any more info than "420 units, 4-story with parking".http://www.rampartconstruction.net/portfolio.html
Jax
Description: This 420-unit development is wrapped around a six-level access controlled, 625-space, precast concrete parking garage, with a detention pond located underneath the garage. Common areas include a clubroom, leasing center, lounge, movie room, concierge, fitness center, cyber caf
lockmat
I'm assuming they have that entire undeveloped parcel of land, which looks pretty big. How many stories do yall think it'll be considering that mass of land? Similar to that complex right next to it; 3 or 4?
Jax
I think the Esplanade is 4 stories. The website used to say this building was 4 stories as well but now it just says it will wrap around a six-level parking garage. I wonder if that means the building will be closer to 6 stories as well?

TheNiche
I think that complex next to the site is the first one they built. Can we confirm that? The developer and builder of Esplanade is different from the developer and builder of Oasis.
Jax
Does anybody know how many units the Esplanade is for comparison?

lockmat
Thanks for the pic Jax. I forgot about this one. Do we know if their other projects have broken ground? Here's the pic from their website. Does this one look pretty up to date? And can we have the title of this changed for easier searches? Jax
Yeah, actually it looks pretty up to date.I guess you could change the title to "Oasis" and the description to "new project near mosaic on Almeda and Hermann" or something.
lockmat
All the anti-parking garage people should be pleased this one will be hidden in the middle of the project.
Jax
Yeah I'm totally glad. The place I live was done the same way.
lockmat
Yeah I'm totally glad. The place I live was done the same way.Do apts closest to the garage actually share a wall w/ it, or is there some small separation? I wound't want my walls shaking every time someone gets home. musicman
I wound't want my walls shaking every time someone gets home. if you live in an apartment, you have to worry about walls shaking without cars. Just depends how "active" your neighbors are.
Jax
There's separation with a sort of bridge thing from the garage to the apartments. I'm lucky enough to have quiet neighbors. The biggest issue is car alarms which go off randomly. I can't hear them from my bedroom though.
