The Silence is Deafening

I heard this morning that some city is going to try and pass an ordinance making it illegal to say the dreaded "N-Word" in their vicinity. I wonder in a few ACLU lawyers will jump in on this and cry about the first amendment ?

.......and Damon Wayans just got fined $320 for saying the "N-Word" 16 times during his last set at the Laugh Factory, Andy Dick got fined the same night for using it once, probably $20, if the math works out. The Laugh Factory is where "Kramer" had his breakdown a couple of month's ago.

There are quite a few problems with these types of laws. Go ahead and throw in that crazy California anti-spanking law thats being proposed as well.

What they are doing, quite simply, is trampling all over your Constitutional rights. Opening up everyone to more and more government intrusion.

The 'Hate' Crimes are a mockery, designed to favor one race over another. Crime is crime and it should be prosecuted as such.

Besides when is the last time you personally heard a white person call a black person the 'N' word in public? These days you're lible to get gunned down.

You just threw up another stereotype in that statement mrfootball. Not all "N-Words" carry guns. <_< I would say alot more "H-Words" carry them on their persons as opposed to "N-Words." Nick Cannon, had a funny quote yesterday that again throws up stereotypes, he said, " Black celebrities don't get followed by the Paparazzi, because they might become accessories to crimes !" Now then, it's "O.K." for him to say that because he is a "black comedian", but if Will Ferrell were to say it, all hell would have broken loose from Al Shark-ton and the rainbow gang. :D
