rem78 Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 My favorite is Las Rosas on 518, next door to Hamilton Inn. They usually have live music on Friday night and sometimes Saturday too. On the Border is the only crappy overhyped Mexican restaurant I can think of near 288. What others are there to avoid? Dos Hermanos closed down (good). Pizza Duo signed a lease on the old Mely's location in this shopping center, got a zoning variance from City Council, put up a temporary sign, and disappeared! Phone disconnected and their other location in Copperfield is now calling itself Pizza Guy. I was looking forward rather a lot to a decent pizza buffet place a few blocks from my house.
