VicMan
http://www.upperkirby.org/index.php?option...35&Itemid=1 A new YMCA is appearing in Upper Kirby. Any thoughts? Are there people here who will have less of a commute to the gym?

HeightsGuy
YMCA in the Upper Kirby?I assume it won't turn seedy.EVERYBODY DANCE!"YOUNG MAN!...."I think you'd be surprised at the Y's these days. I rate them higher than most gyms around town, especially Ballys. My wife and I are members at the 34th St. location and our only complaint is that it's a little too small, but it's Taj Mahal compared to the Ballys on N Shepherd.
