Subdude Posted December 4, 2007 Share Posted December 4, 2007 I'm really trying to get up enough nerve to bike to work. I work about 6 miles from where I live, but I am so afraid of Houston drivers. There are also a lack of bike lanes out here.Can you take side streets? You just have to assume that drivers aren't out there to kill you. Now I walk.Well, I could take Ella Blvd to Richey Road (and avoid FM 1960) and then take that ... but even Richey at rush hour is kinda car heavy and traffic fast.I wish there were some side streets, but Richey IS the side street.
