Highrise Tower
Royal Caribbean to break ground on $110M Galveston cruise terminal https://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2021/08/12/royal-caribbean-cruise-termimal-groundbreaking.html A groundbreaking ceremony will finally be held for Royal Caribbean International’s new $110 million cruise terminal at the Port of Galveston. The ceremony will be held Aug. 14, and the terminal is expected to open in fall 2022, according to the Port of Galveston. Plans originally called for Royal Caribbean to invest nearly $100 million in the 150,000-square-foot terminal, but the port now says it will be 170,000 square feet.
Naviguessor
This is a really exciting project.  This will allow RCI to position their largest class of vessels, which are the largest Cruise Ships afloat, in Galveston. Royal Caribbean Group (Parent Company) also owns Celebrity Cruises which hopefully will someday also be introduced to the Market.  Galveston is already the third largest cruise embarkation port in the US, and this Major Terminal is a very positive step for the Island overall.
