It blurs the lines of garage and building seamlessly to the point where it disappears. Its so meta. Lyric Center might want to clad its garage with fancy lights and panels, but instead they embraced the purist form of the prefab garage. Truly a fine example of Neo-Brutalism and Neo-Functionalism. In this design they say to the world, "I know what I am, and architecture is a farce. I piss on thee." You would think Methodist would have come up with something a little more intriguing. They did just build a beautiful new hospital in the center of the med center and they also did the Outpatient building, on Main, with the great crown.
