Chi-Char-Hou-Dal
Any insiders know who owns this property? With the Bagby Re-Do it's screaming to be developed. Also, I know there is a historic plaque outside but any inside info on 3004 Bagby Houston - looks like it might have been a Latino Museum?Grazie! terra002
Does anyone have any information on this location? (Across the street from Harry's) Its been vacant for as long as I can remember. Its such an ideal location, always wondered why nothing as ever become of it.
Chi-Char-Hou-Dal
Big lot, also Bunch studios appears to be vacant next door. Who are the Bunch family and why do they keep on paying taxes on prime property? WITH WF coming into the neighborhood and more apartments, one would think this and Late Night Pie won't be stale for much longer. Hopefully the magic of HAIF will spur some developement, seriously has happened before. Or coincidence.
terra002
I hope so! Im also wondering about the AMST Fab Shop at 201 Tuam (across from F bar). I remember seeing a variance request, something about a cultural center... not sure what that means.

trymahjong
Is the Late Nite Pie still a burnt out husk?Yes -really trashed inside but only partly because of fire-- homeless have moved in by pulling off boards in back. Rumor is FBar owner tried to buy the lot and Late Nite Pie land but owner wouldn't sell.

If the owner of the land was LNP, it would be a good move to sell it to raise legal funds, and if it wasn't, why let an abandoned building sit on the property and if nothing else, force a demolition? I say "murky" because of the trouble COH has in billing for the graffiti abatement--or so I was told.
