This land is a prime location, with The RO going up the next couple years and the proximity to Greenway and Kirby, it's going to be close to everything.

Popular Post Highrise Tower
Sunrise Senior Living - River Oaks, TX BeeryRio Architects. Schematic Design services. Kay Architects was retained to handle the full schematic including program coordination, structural coordination, and elevation design. The challenge? A tight site, a need for a garage and its access, and fitting the program in the five story building. The result? An elegant structure that hugs the street with a drop off entrance element, brick base, raised patios/plazas that offset and step back, and a roof line that is grandiose and thoughtful. http://www.kayarchitects.com/consultation.php?project=consultation_2 10

Highrise Tower
City of Houston Public Works department has vacated the space! Any news about this property? Will it become for sale? I believe this parcel used to belong to Kenneth Schnitzer, the developer of Greenway Plaza. He built his mansion here. Photo I took today:
astrohip
Yes, that was where Kenneth Schnitzer had his "abode". I think he had a tennis court also. Now that the Alabama project is finished, it'll be interesting to see what happens to it. Nice corner! But there's a fair amount of land available in that immediate area.
