jmancuso
I see nothing wrong with these buildings. Sure, they're glass boxes but not every project in town had to be high profile. The energy corridor is not really a hot bed for architectural wonder but I like the fact these created a new mini skyline.
fernz
But there are a few good examples out there: Sysco and Gulf States Toyota are really nice BTS buildings, and the Conoco towers seem like they will be a nice collection of spec high rises. ChannelTwoNews
https://www.bisnow.com/archives/newsletter/commercial-real-estate/houston/3392-why-outlet-malls-keep-getting-bigger/ Breaking News: Technip Preleases Again Technip just signed a huge expansion at Mac Haik's Energy Plaza, taking down 104k SF in the soon-to-deliver Energy Tower IV. Just last year, Technip leased the full 438k SF Energy Tower III, also inking its deal before the building delivered. Mac Haik director of leasing Steve Bryant (whom we snapped with the two buildings Technip will call home) repped the landlord with colleague Brandon Poynter, and tells us ETIV will be complete by Jan 15, but Technip and Spectrum are building out their spaces now, with plans to open for business in March. He and Brandon still have 284k SF available. CBRE's Steve Hesse, Brandon Clarke and Jeff Cairns sat at the other side of the table.
toxtethogrady
I love the way these leases grab 100,000 sf of space in one gulp. We'll see how many more of these are headed to Houston.
