I guess they could call it anything that isn't taken.  I just like "Club America Houston".

So long as Houston is somewhere on the team name, and we're not stupid enough to think that a standard 20,00-seat high school stadium as the venue is what we should call "state-of-the-art", and "Houston-like", it's a great deal!

It's a great opportunity for the city of Houston. Let's see how much Oliver Luck is willing to fund and push for this like he did the stadiums for the Astros, Rockets, and Texans

As well as the rookie draft.  Some predict they will not have a 2005-2006 season either.  Houston had more hockey than Dallas, NY, Chicago, or the rest of the NHL cities.

a little ironic given our location...but i think soccer here would be huge...i went to the us women v mexico game some years back at cougar stadium and it was packed, and i also went to the mens game against mexico at reliant huge crowd there too we definitely would be able to put some meat in the seats

Given that only Los Angeles and Salt Lake average more than 20,000, it makes no sense to build or play in a stadium larger than that. Not only is it very expensive for upkeep, a half or three-quarter empty stadium is depressing to see. Ever watched an Arizona Cardinals game?

Hope Dallas and KC's new stadiums help their attendance. They're stinking up the place.

I just hope the 20,000 stadium thing isn't permanent
