What was it, then? And why is it pertinent to this thread?

He has multiple hunting violations on his record, and clearly has a sick enjoyment of violence. So I'm wondering at what point his "habits" would be forcefully regulated. Is that pertinent enough?

A Houston man today pleaded guilty to a felony charges in connection with the decapitation of a beloved deer known to the Houston area as Mr. Buck.

Brandon Eugene Gregory, 24, admitted to one count of taking a wildlife resource without landowner consent, a state jail felony, according to court records.

He is expected to be sentenced by state District Judge Herb Ritchie on Nov. 18 after a pre-sentence investigation. He faces 180 days to two years in jail and a fine ranging from $1,500 to $10,000.

The man who admitted killing Harris County Precinct 3's beloved tame deer known as “Mr. Buck” was sentenced to 18 months in state jail today.

Brandon Eugene Gregory, 24, had pleaded guilty last August to a felony charge of taking a wildlife resource without landowner consent.
