HtownWxBoy
Well with my power still out the boyfriend and I spent the day eating out, visiting the Science Museum, and going to the movies... saw Burn After Reading... FUNNY MOVIE! Anyone else see it? If you like dark comedy you will love this movie... Brad Pitt's character definitely makes the movie! memebag
The FMB and I saw it last weekend. We both liked it, but she'll never watch it again. I'd rank it toward the bottom of the Coen brothers' ouvre, but way better than their worst (Intolerable Cruelty).
ssullivan
We saw it, and enjoyed it. But it's far from their best work. It just didn't seem finished. I think it had a great premise, but needed a little more work before it was actually executed to close up some of the lose ends in the plot. ricco67
i saw it and i left the theater wondering if i had missed anything. i do have to admit that i enjoyed it and watching pitt playing such a dork was awesome.i almost wish he would get nominated for that performance! Fringe
Wife and I saw it because we are huge Coen Brothers fans. Enjoyed it but I agree it wasn't one of their better ones. Nothing will ever top Raising Arizona, one of my all time favorite movies.

gonzo1976
I saw it when the power was still out at my place. I liked it. Better than "The Ladykillers" in my opinion.
Subdude
The FMB and I saw it last weekend. We both liked it, but she'll never watch it again. I'd rank it toward the bottom of the Coen brothers' ouvre, but way better than their worst (Intolerable Cruelty). Just saw it and would have to agree with the assessment. Enjoyable enough, but just barely. The Pitt character was great of course. Tomorrow I am going to try to go see Quantum of Solace! I can't wait! memebag
Tomorrow I am going to try to go see Quantum of Solace! I can't wait! Yeah, I showed missusbag "Casino Royale" last weekend and she loved it. Neither of us were fond of Bond before that one.
crunchtastic
Yeah, I showed missusbag "Casino Royale" last weekend and she loved it. Neither of us were fond of Bond before that one.I didn't realize Quantum opened this weekend. That's one to see at the theatre. I expected to be rather lukewarm about the new Bond--I am not. I love the dark, revenge-driven Bond. And while I'm not a fan of blonde, ripped, leading men, I am a fan of Daniel Craig. He's got a face that's been around.
