Subdude Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 I-45 Town Hall MeetingState Representative Jessica Farrar is hosting a public meeting on the proposed expansion of I-45 on Saturday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the auditorium at the University of Houston-Downtown, One Main Street. Residents in neighborhoods on the north side of downtown Houston are encouraged to attend.Texas Department of Transportation is proposing widening I-45 from eight lanes to twelve lanes. The project would impact several historic residential areas in the vicinity of Woodland Heights and the Near Northside. Free parking will be available in the lot at 900 Girard.
