jm1fd
What a charming little cottage. HCAD has it on for a market value of 5 million....half off sale on taxes for the wealthy. Gotta love that.
Dan the Man
I can't imagine that second story pavilion-looking addition is original to the house. It looks so out of place. Great house, though. Restrained classical architecture at its best...
RedScare
I wonder if the boxer in pic #15 comes with the house.
Chamo
$750 quarterly in maintenance fees!!!! Beautiful house but what a deal breaker. What do you think monthly electricity & gas bill could be for a place like this?
Pumapayam
Super location, but the price reflects that. That is So Cal pricing right there.
musicman
$750 quarterly in maintenance fees!!!! Beautiful house but what a deal breaker.LOL. but seriously when you go thru the gate 750/quarter is downright cheap.
rsb320
LOL. but seriously when you go thru the gate 750/quarter is downright cheap.I wonder if that includes a yard man. I go by there all the time. I've never gone in because I'm intimidated by the gates even though they are open mostly.
mpbro
McMansions don't have "carriage houses" or "motor courts"! Edited May 9, 2008 by mpbro
rps324
If HCAD adjusts the taxes to reflect the sales price on the new owner, that is going to be one hellacious tax bill.
Dan the Man
If HCAD adjusts the taxes to reflect the sales price on the new owner, that is going to be one hellacious tax bill. Can the new owner choose not to disclose the sales price, and instruct the brokers to do the same? Can this be written in the contract?
TheNiche
You know, if I had access to that kind of money, there's no way in hell you could convince me to live someplace so damned boring. This is so very ho-hum.I'd probably get myself a penthouse in a highrise for overnight use when I'd have to be in town for business a big-ass boat down in Clear Lake to live on, and also a big frickin' ranch somewhere out of the way with all the right equipment to take me 'off-the-grid' and subterrainian if need be, complete with an airstrip for easy access. All that, in this one house, in overtaxed Houston...no. Just no.

Home features a classy motor court and carriage house-style garage in front..."
