neuman Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 This location has been mentioned in some posts about the Borden plant at Louisiana/Pierce. I ran across a few pictures and thought that it deserved it's own post. This one was located east of 59 on or around Texas avenue and was demolished around the mid-90's. The old Coca Cola Bottling plant that was recently torn down had several of those (with coke bottles).Isn't this Lofts at the Ballpark now? I remember because my father worked there from the early 1950's until his retirment in the late 80's I believe. After he started, he was drafted to the Korean War, then continued working there after serving in the Army. Thanks for the picture!
