    I can confirm this is not a composite. This is just a combination of a clear day, good lighting and a strong telephoto lens. I'm guessing 600mm or so. I have shot images from this garage before (I just don't have that long of a telephoto lens) and the view to downtown can be quite nice with the right gear.

    Can't find the skyline update thread any more (I've never had much luck with the search feature on this forum) so I felt like this thread could apply. The prototypical downtown Houston skyline shot.

    It was for heating/cooling purposes. There was concern about how much power/HVAC capacity would be needed to keep the building cool in the summer.

    Well I went downtown and I did get a photo of the 609 Main building but it didn't really show much of the crown. That said, it is still just lighting up the two angled upper sections of the crown. I hope that the following picture I got this evening will make up for my insolence.
