I used to shop at the store on Post Oak and remember them as being sort of upscale and pricey.

I think it was just a field (BW8 store). That area was not as developed back then.

Has anyone tried Pizza Love?
-
That looks pretty cool.

Follow the link to the other site and then go to post #17 and click on the thumbnails. Looks like it's Post property.
Mod - please combine sites.
Thx

I can think of another one, but haven't been by there in quite some time. It's Old Chocolate Bayou Rd., east of Cullen and north of South BW8. However, it may be redeveloped these days.

I read somewhere that they now live in River Oaks. New husband and a bunch of kids.
-
I live in the area, so Star Pizza will be a welcomed addition.

Carter Oosterhouse is saying on recent commercials that Rooms-To-Go is adding a second warehouse in the area. I wonder?

Why is Hines selling their Houston skyscrapers? Will they remain HQ'd there?
Hopefully, it's to gain capital to invest in new structures now that Main Place is complete.

I just don't see this happening here. But, would this include produce bags?

There was a rink way out west. Either on Beechnut, Bellaire or Bissonnet. They used to have a gay disco skate night in the 80's. Drag queens on skates - hilarious!

DiverseWorks is moving to South Midtown after 20 years in a warehouse just north of downtown. "Historic Building" is at Fannin and Cleburne.

I got my current coffee maker for free by signing up to buy Gevalia coffee and then later cancelling.

Didn't one of the owners recently die? Might have something to do with the current situation...
I think it was the wife who died.

I finally got to see the roof closing yesterday. We were just looking at the stadium and remembering the choo choo train. It really closes pretty rapidly.

I went to a work happy hour at Flying Saucer last Friday, but never for a HAIFY HOUR.

Whoever the new owner will be I hope they keep the rotating light going.
I thought it was just under 1 million sqft in area. Anyone know the price yet? Thanks for posting.
Something like $450mil.

Been that way for awhile now. Don't expect to see much change until Bagby construction is past them (or at least the east lane).
I guess I hadn't notice before because I was distracted by the street construction.

I drove by this building the other day after a Spec's run. It is completely gutted and the roof is gone.

There was this hispanic dude ON the train this morning with his baseball cap held out, asking people for money. I said oh no, you can't be doing that up in here.
-
I doubt they'll be banned since they are probably made here.

Actually Francis and Fannin street. It's the Frank Bering house, that I posted the picture of .
Here's an advertisement I found.
Yep, I noticed my previous post was 1 block off on my ride home yesterday. I think I read somewhere where Trinity Episcopal had bought that house. I think I got the church name right.
