    So far, the closest thing seems to be the Taverna Coffee shop which is shown here at the bottom middle facing westheimer: http://www.riveroaksdistrict.com/shops/directory but i am surprised a dessert or candy shop has not been added, although there is certainly room for one...crossing fingers for something awesome or that Taverna Coffee has some great pastry selections etc... which by the way, anyone looking for the best gingerbread cookies ever, go to Crave Cupcakes! Houston Press just named them the best gingerbread cookie in houston and they would be correct! (super soft and great ginger flavor and decorated perfectly) !!!

    Taken last night at Panera while getting their freaking awesome Christmas cookies (cannot figure out how in the heck to make this right side up...sorry! haha!)

    incorrect...The George R. Brown Convention WAS built to resemble a ship in honor of the BrownShipping Company's contribution in WWII and for it’s generous land donation the convention center is built on.

    uh...your number 4 in no way has a tiara...that is 100 percent for sure a fruit basket and i have always hoped someone would fill it with giant inflatable bananas, oranges, apples, etc

    haha i live directly across the street so i go walking there almost every day for exercise, people watching, to eat and yes...sometimes shop! haha! ps...i have great luck with jeans at H&M, Top Man and sometimes Macy's fyi!

    apparently we had an amazing sunrise this morning as my social media is filled with a tons of these types of photos! haha! beautiful!

    I went to ROD yesterday with a buddy for a quick photoshoot, then dinner and the movie Spectre and noticed that COS (Collection Of Style) looks almost completed interior wise so i am guessing they will be bringing in the merchandise any day now and opening in the next week or two! Pretty excited about this H&M own branded store originally from Sweden...something i can afford for sure...finally! whooohooooo!

    well then, in my opinion iPic IS winning! haha! and wow iPic i do believe is doing pretty well for itself...every showing of every movie seems to eventually sell out in the premium plus seating lately...me and a buddy have been trying to see Spectre there since it came out and each time when we finally can make a time work, it is then sold out! (and i do believe it was or is playing on multiple screens there...like 2 or 3!) looks like our plans to see it this weekend have turned into a Sunday showing...

    my problem is mainly with the kooky diamond crown thingy...and as stated before, unless its some kind of Stargate type portal for aliens to communicate with us or be transported with then that part is indeed dumb. haha

    helllooooOoOooOoo obviously that pool is for everyone!!!! it does not mention it here but while that pool is only 5 feet wide and 10 feel long it spans almost the entire height of the building so there is tons of room for everyone to swim way under water! yet another GENIUS thing about this magical architecture wonder...

    i got my star wars dec 17th 1045pm ticket the day they went on sale and later that day a buddy decided they did want to go afterall and it was sold out...i have already posted about how i am seeing it solo in a romantic "pod" seat with my mystery/blind date i have yet to meet haha!

    haha....well if i go it alone, the way i figure it, i would spend just under 50.00 per visit (24.00 for the seat and another 20.00 for food/tip -i dont drink), so that makes it a total of 10 movies or 5 with a friend!

    i heard the first one to open will be Toulouse Cafe and Bar...it was supposed to be open already but now i am hearing sometime in december...not sure what the hold up is on all the restaurants being constructed but of course the hiring and training process will take longer than at a retail store...(and i am sure construction too but hey they have had lots of time haha!) and in other news i found out just now that i won the iPic Theater social media/houston scavenger hunt grand prize of a 500.00 gift card!!!!!!!!!!!! yahOOoOOoOOoooOoOoo see ya at the movies!!!

    haha that is the exact color of the pops of color in my otherwise dark gray apartment (accent pillows, chair, candles etc) haha!!! doh!
