    driving past this morning while still dark, you could see the ground floor of all the building lit up and it seems about 75 percent is unoccupied...they need to just add a retail and/or restaurant element to these...there were rumors for awhile that a popular independent cafe/restaurant chain was eyeing the old Tommy's space...so that would be a good start. It will be interesting to see their ideas and what developments come about

    good lord....sounds like another excuse but glad no one was hurt...this is taking forrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! I saw my post up there in Jan 2021 saying good news it is being remodeled haha!

    did the trifecta this morning with my best friend leaving to Rome this afternoon to film a movie 🤩... 

    Empire Cafe for eggs, bacon, Italian toast and a granita, then Brasil to see my buddy Bucky for coffee....then we went to Agora for a gingerbread cookie (for later i promise 😇 )...

    anyway, walked past Barcelona Wine Bar and it looks beautiful outside and inside too...lots of workers inside doing final touches...they just got their permits and are hiring staff and starting training next week so looks like an mid October opening they said!

    just an update, Nandos is turning out to be a really fun and cool edition to this plaza with a much needed exciting look...hope the food lives up to the design! it really is breathing life into what i think is a very ho-hum plaza in terms of offerings...(except K & Z!). 

    ps...i am very angry with @hindesky for not posting a photo update yet...and yes, i know, i can take my own dang photo of the place but it wont look as good as theirs...so yes..i am angry. 😑kthxbye

    Nando's Peri Peri is hiring...i am guessing they will be open next month!

    Honestly i wasn't that excited about it but the menu looks pretty good to me...i will just subtract the chickpeas on anything that includes them haha:

    i LIVED at Royal Oak and was so sad when they closed it...that place really had everything i needed. cool vibe, great staff and large patio front and back....then....

    this crap

    and did you see that they were so lazy that they put the malibu sign OVER the present company sign and you can still see the old name/wording etc...good lord 😑

    yes...VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY sad it no longer looks like a substantial structure and does not resemble a hovering ufo...darnit! i guess the old design was either going to be too expensive or too heavy? but at night it does look better than the day time like was commented previously...at least...
