Houston company bringing back the DeLorean?!

It was never supposed to be fast. But there is a cool mod where you can generate 1.21 GigaWatts to make it really fly. -

I sure liked old Matt. Seeing him on the roof mid-day while having lunch at the frat house. Ch 26 is a mess. I tried to watch it last night but it was all bait and switch.

I think the new engines for the rebuilds are straight-up Volvo. http://www.delorean.com/ -

This place is near Old Humble Road and the Beltway. My neighbor has one he got from there. Drive by during the week and they have them all out in the lot most day. You can also peek into the showroom on the weekends. They have been open for four years that I know of. And they use Volvo engines, not the originals. That article was pretty poor on its information. -
The electricity bill is not that much lower. We only saved $50.00. Did in rain in Houston this weekend? It was sunny all weekend in Galveston.

What a flashback to my UH days! I was a Record Rack Regular. I wonder what Bruce is up to these days? I love the guys with the Vanilla Ice haircuts crying. They had to be wiggin! And all the old Houston's radio and TV personalities. They sound arse-backwards, especially Steve Smith.

We are headed to Galveston. Hope to see some good storms.

Neat. I took a ride in my first Piper Cub at Genoa Airfield. It's so close to Ellington I am surprised it was ever open. That Cub led my to getting my pilot's license a few years later.

Baylor St. Lukes McNair Campus & Health Sciences Park

The surface lots in the TMC have some beautiful fences and take advantage of the bayou scape. And most have security. I left my gate, in Houston's Midtown. {cue Sinatra} They were mandatory to keep all the ghetto-thugs out. And you never know what those male prostitues on Tuam might try. The only gates in Fall Creek are around home's driveways and the two golf courses. So if 15 miles from downtown is the burbs, then I'll take it! But if I were 20 years old, or gay, like y'all I just might move back.- 542 replies

Those lots have been there for 20+ years. They didn't need structured parking back then. And when they need more land those lots will be converted and you'll see structured parking. I think Segregated_Boston_Schools would be a real cool screen name.- 542 replies

Good grief, surface parking is tragic? And the solution to parking is? Boston has gone to your head.- 542 replies

Hopefully those signs come back to haunt him. I have posted a picture on HAIF before of the ones he had nailed into Live Oak trees in Midtown. -
Dussen park on Lake Houston is far from Shabby. It's a Co. park.

Sam Houston Tollway will be lined with video cameras
MidtownCoog replied to editor's topic in Traffic and Transportation
Just like the Dulles Tollway, they will always have to take cash. -
I don't know if I would pay the toll, becuase the traffic is not bad from my Park and Ride (Eastex). Now further out it may be a differnet story. I know most downtown employers offer either free parking or a free monthly bus pass. Mine does, and I always just took the free bus pass to ride the bus and relax. My wife works downtown now so we ride the HOV together and I take the free parking.
