Those were taken today, by the way.

Great news and glad to see something else gping on at that end.
Pumapayam:I miss Louie the Lightning Bug!
I forgot all about him!

Are you two being sarcastic or is it actually coming along?

The no headgear rule is discrimanatory towards people with severly messed up teeth.
What's MC colors?
That dress code isn't too bad.

Next time I'm not going to sit for two hours and watch the rodeo. I'm going to walk around until 20-30 minutes before the concert starts. I noticed that's what the majority of people do anyway. They start pouring in around 9:00.
As for that guy, he had his head hanging down as he was walking up the stadium steps, probably hoping someone wouldn't recognize him. Oops. But like I said, it was apparent. He looked pretty cozy with the blonde, though, and his wife was nowhere in sight. I feel sorry for her. They've been together since high school.
Something I forgot to try was one of those deep fried Snickers bars, Twinkies or Oreos. I've always wanted to try one of those and didn't even think about it until I saw them on the news the next day.

Those are really nice!
I wish I had gotten the chance to explore more when I went last Thursday. I think the livestock show, carnival, food, etc, is more interesting than the rodeo itself. Sitting there for two hours waiting for the concert, eating bad expensive, stadium food to pass time gets boring. I feel sorry for the animals when they lasso them and jerk them to the ground and I'm not some animal rights nut. Perhaps one of the most interesting things of the evening was spotting a long-time family friend cheating on his wife. Apparently.

I don't know. Maybe they put the equipment in place as of yesterday. Perhaps someone can go by today and take some pics.
-
I e-mailed the GHCVB again and axed them about it. They responded, "possibly next week, the equipment is on site".

He really does look about twice the height of the Asian woman:

What a suprise to see Dikembe Mutombo on the State of the Union Address last night. I sat down to blow dry my hair and heard him say Dikembe. I only know of one Dikembe.

Thanks, Lockmat. I wish they were playing that first Saturday game at home.
Edit: March is the pre-season games, isn't it?

Does anyone know when the team will be finalized as far as positioning the players, trades, etc?
Also, when will the 2007 schedule be available and when is opening day?

That's too bad. I like me some Bobby.
Oh well, the Rockets are really hot right now. I hope they can keep it going at least until Yao is back and healthy.

Was there any official word on Bob Sura? Is this old news?

My sister's on the Rodeo committee, so I neither have to stand in line or go online. I can get first dibs on any of them before they go on sale.
Anyway, I'm at least going to go with my mom to see Reba Mycintire. I'm not the biggest fan of country music, but I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been to the rodeo in years. The last one I went to was with Enrique Iglesias who I was a huge fan of proir to seeing him live. Man, he was awful. I haven't been the same fan since. Live Enrique is a major turn off.

Yao and T-Mac will be guests on Jimmy Kimmel this Friday:

I think there's a Chevy Chase New York.

Wow an official Astros thread four months before the season begins...thats a new record. Is this because we are more excited about the upcoming season or more skeptical with all the latest news? Either way, by the time April rolls around I'm always ready for the Astros to start it up again.
I'm just looking forward to the spring and the Astros games. I hate this time of year; I'm ready to take down the Christmas decorations already. I'm ready for the leaves to finish falling because they're making everything ugly. Of course it will be ugly and bare when they do fall, but that's one more step towards spring and Astros games.
So this Jason Jennings - I know nothing about him. People on the Astros.com forum are already complaining, but that's nothing unusual. I can't judge until I see him in action. We can hope he'll be beneficial. If he dosen't deliver, then we can gripe.
I hate losing Willy Taveres! Buchholtz and Hirsch can go, I don't care.

I thought Roger was a Steak and Potatoes kinda guy, in fact I thought I read where he's allergic to chicken!
LOL!!
So I heard the thing with the Garland guy is dead. Now what?

Are there certain days that the Astros make announcements about trades and such or do they just make them when they have news?
With Pettite gone and I consider Clemens gone anyway, especially now, I'm anxious to see what happens next.

Que sera, sera. I like Andy and am disappointed by the news, but it's also kind of exciting. Now it's time to suck it up, move on and see what to do next.

They also signed Woody Williams.

I hate Barns & Noble. I hate the lighting in the stores and the smells from their stupid cafes.
