    A few more pics from last night - the water show held at 51 minutes past the hour is pretty cool - it's a holographic display against a big spray of water in the pond which then moves up to the wall of the Marriott Animal Planet was setting up for Puppy Bowl which will be broadcast Sunday

    Yep - there is also a Verizon pop-up store located there....free charging stations, 2nd floor "viewing" deck and lots of sales people

    I would download the "Super Bowl LI" app if you plan on attending any of the events -- it has event schedules, maps, transportation information, etc....it's a great resource

    I am excited also - my volunteer shifts start Sunday afternoon and go through next Friday - it's going to be crazy around DG !! I'm going to dinner at Biggios tonight and then will check out the preparations with some friends. I've sent tons of pictures to friends and family throughout the US and none of them can believe that the pictures are from Houston - it really is an amazing transformation !!

    This area had been used for construction equipment and storage when they were redoing Bagby a few years ago.... Is it just being used for a similar thing now or are they actually building something ?

    Ate dinner at Biggio's -- what a great space....we happened the meet the Executive Chef as we were wandering around - he gave us a tour of the upstairs area....great views from the patio

    Had dessert at Grotto tonight - they opened today at 4:00pm. They have a nice outdoor area with fire pits and TVs... More pics of the GRB area....
