Either this or Georgia James falls in a year or two, I just can't see both of these staying open a block away from each other with Brasserie 19, Perry's, Andiron, Federal, Brenner's, and Laurenzo's also just a hop skip away. (His own B&B Butchers, Flemings, and Doris also in the area). Or maybe there's a regular demand for upscale steakhouses and I'm an idiot?

Regent Square: Mixed-Use On Allen Parkway At Dunlavy St.
AS_ replied to Travel_n_Transport's topic in Going Up!
We'll rinse and repeat this after Mexican Sugar goes in and out. Flight Club and to a lesser extent, Georgia James, and Flower & Cream seem like the only things holding up the Regent Square commercial space.- 1,531 replies

I didn't realize they only slotted four courts. We'll see how long folks will have to wait to play.- 56 replies

Darwins still surviving (pun intended)? I thought they were two sides of the same coin? -
I'm not sure there was sufficient mediterranean food demand with Niko's, Aladdin, Al Quick, and heck, places like Layal and Mary'z aren't far away. I visited La Fendee for the first time last year despite living in the neighborhood for a long time and it was sadly very underwhelming. The stale baklava almost made me cry. Knew then the restaurant wasn't made for this world much longer.

Uh, Shepherd is a little further down. That's the perpetual construction zone at the moment.

The Vic At The Interpose: Multifamily At 1111 Shepherd Dr.
AS_ replied to Ross's topic in The Heights
It's on Center. Tin Drum unfortunately looks like a bust. Took forever to move in and I don't see folks inside when I've driven by, especially during popular hours. Part of me thinks the parking was a problem, another part questions if there's just too many casual asian restaurants in the area.- 136 replies
