  1. I have visions of the first dual-use HEB/Specs. If that happens, I would have literally everything I could ever need at my doorstep.
  2. It depends on how they intend to use the land. I've been unable to find any plans or materials for that lot. That said, soil samples are usually performed before foundations get dug/poured. And they are out there again today. 3 trucks.
  3. Not sure if this is the correct thread or if we should start a new one. Soil sampling crews are onsite right now at the Midway site across from Guadalupe Plaza Park and 2404 Navigation.
  4. True that. And FFS, stop throwing neighborhood cookouts (even if they smell dank), that's not how this thing works!
  5. So true. I still don't know why Mr. Salmeron didn't sell since the building isn't even occupied these days, but, oh well.
  6. Piggybacking off Luminare's post, I'm working from home and I can promise you that 2404 Navigation shows no signs of slowing down. Also, there are definitely more than 10 people people on-site. But like Luminare said, they are all spaced out already, not really in close proximity, and just out there doing their thing.
  7. That's a little disappointing. I know most of these dealerships aren't exactly paragons of design, but that she's a little...sad
  8. Oh man, I gotta look through my old vacation pics now. I remember that horrifying bamboo scaffold with little to no planking being all over Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. EDIT: I couldn't find the scaffold, but enjoy this OSHA-approved brick throwing line in KL.
  9. I'm just sitting here waiting for Andes to resurface. Maybe there? Maybe at 2404 Navigation? I dunno, just stay in walking distance please!
  10. Drive by this strip today. Sign for Allegiance Bank is up, but no signs for Corky's. Bad news for them...
  11. Are you referring to the hike/bike trail along the bayou? No. That is still partially washed out. Shame too, it was one of my favorites.
  12. Ah, it's called Pizza Pazza. Not Pizza Piazza. Here is there website: https://www.pizzapazzahouston.com/
  13. Update: the block got new power poles. Gas line to the building is almost done as well.
  14. Looks like a slightly more modern update of the townhome community on Chartres and Tuam.
  15. Not bad. Better than the vacant lot. I've been seeing the signs for it for a while. About time we got some drawings out of it.
  16. It appears to be a pizza shop run by the folks from El Burro and the Bull (or at least that's whose name was on the TABC Application). They are in the modded shipping container across from Merida. I haven't taken a picture of it in a while, but here is the pic of it off Google Street View. It has since been fully painted, they added some lights and seating outside, and look just about ready to open.
  17. Luckily they will be back with Pizza Piaza on the Navigation Esplanade shortly. The TABC license has been granted!
  18. Agreed on all points. My place is nearby and is usually the rally spot for my friends and my wife's friends. Each group has had the Corky's discussion. All give it a "hard pass" for the reasons stated above.
  19. I like the idea a lot. It would be great to have some public art at the roundabout, but this just seems to be putting the cart before the horse. Maybe actually sign a contract to get the roundabout built first? I know funding is secured, but that's it...
  20. Concrete pours scheduled for both today and tomorrow. I'm guessing today's will get delayed due to weather. That said, I'm expecting another level up by the weekend.
  21. This one puzzles me. Ignoring the whole "Lovett has too much on their plate" discussion that has played out across the forum, I'm just not seeing what the development could be. I know BBP plans to expand the park over there, but there isn't a whole lot over there (aside from Finca).
  22. Third floor got poured today. New structural beams added as well. Next pour will be around 2/10.
  23. "Finca dos robles." Lol, someone may want to tell the guys at Finca tres robles that someone cut down one of their trees!
