I can understand the frustration for people from out of town. If you're local, the news kept telling us Houstonians to experience the events the opening weekend. I listened and went before the out of towners arrived and had a great time. Obviously it was going to get really crowded THE DAY BEFORE THE SUPER BOWL!

We know that the MM is the game changer of Hotels in Houston and after the Super Bowl it will be THE hotel everyone will want to stay and ask about. What do you think will be the response from new and existing hotels to have that wow factor? Does this force new proposals to redesign?

What's all that cabling above the patio about?
I noticed this also. Can anyone speak to this?

What was the plan for the back of the hotel? It's really plain.

There's nothing wrong with a little healthy competition. I hope the competition between Uptown and Downtown is as competitive as the Cavaliers vs the Warriors. In the end, we as Houstonians and our wonderful visitors will be the winners. I'm really curious about this update.

Who would I need to talk to to get the " WE LOVE HOUSTON" sign moved to Discovery Green. People would love to take a picture with it and it would become an iconic symbol for Houston . Let's get the ball rolling on this

Is it just me or does this building look like a 40 story vagina when lit? I wish downtown would incorporate more creative lighting.

I'm assuming the hotel component will mirror the glass facade. This would really standout traveling down 59

This may be the most underated development on haif. I hope this will spark a new trend of more live music in Houston. Cannot wait to visit!

How many floors are left to be constructed on this baby?

Visitors are really going to be confused as to where downtown is. I'm loving this building!

Underground storage facility? This guy is nuts. They really don't know what to do with the Dome and Ed Emmett is to prideful to admit it.Shame on him.

After the Super Bowl has moved on, will this area be an LA Live type experience? What is the long term plan for this area?

When is the estimated groundbreaking on this?

I noticed construction continuing at the front of the shopping center while I was passing by. When will this be completely finished and what retailers have yet to open?
