  1. Retail Wrap: Meyerland Plaza gets $93 million loan for refinancing http://www.houstonchronicle.com/business/real-estate/article/Meyerland-Plaza-gets-93M-loan-for-refinancing-12293372.php A joint venture of Fidelis Realty Partners has obtained a $93 million loan to refinance Meyerland Plaza, an 860,308-square-foot retail center at the southwest corner of the West Loop South and Beechnut. JLL Capital Markets, led by Tom Fish, Jimmy Board and Molly Leinsdorf, secured the loan through John Hancock. Tenants include a J.C. Penney store, Palais Royal, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Ross Dress for Less, Marshall's, Best Buy, Chick-fil-A, Saltgrass Steakhouse and Beck's Prime. Fidelis, in partnership with BlackRock, acquired the property from Ronus Properties in 2013. The 1957 center was redeveloped by Ed Wulfe in the mid-1990s.
  2. That was quick! Land cleared Holiday lights going up! Imagine working as a cashier during Thanksgiving. Talk about the busiest time of the year!
  3. wow! That interior.. Reminds me of the BBVA Compass Plaza at 2200 Post Oak Boulevard. They also had a (curved) wood ceiling design.
  4. Rumor has it construction won't start until after the 2017 holidays. Maybe site work prep until then?
  5. Is that a big piece of machinery in the middle of 59/610? See if every day while I drive to work. Can't be an irresponsible driver and take a photo
  6. Phase II started! Curb side pickup (and a entertainment stage?) This is on the Westheimer side.
  7. Got a new job located in the Koch building! Twenty Greenway Plaza View from the 7th floor patio. Wider shot.. Uptown is my favorite
  8. 610 East is down to one lane right now? Sounds like a nightmare during rush hour.
  9. Thanks for bumping the thread. Not sure if it's related but I just noticed several construction signs on 610 near the Bellaire/Bissonnett/Fournace exit. Think the signs specified "Construction begins in the next 1/2 mile"
  10. Thanks. 610 will now have two different remodel phases! Going to be a madhouse for the next decade. The Elevated 610 West Loop Express Lanes and then this 610 Bus Lanes.
  11. Was riding in a car on the way to Spindletap Brewery for the Operation Juice Drop release party. "Little Dubai" with Amegy's new bldg The signage is so tiny! From the freeway, you cannot make it out. Guess residential towers don't put huge signage logos ala Amegy Bank.
  12. The other week. I like this photo because of the crane reflection off the BHP Billiton tower
