Big question is whether we can see TX Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick ®, United States Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), Governor Greg Abbott ® using aggressive scare tactics to swing voters over to King's side in the runoff ?
There's also the possibility of the "Special Friend", who might show up to leak more secrets about Turner!
I like what formatting did to ( R ) - it makes it look like Patrick and Abbott are more brand names than people

At least they won't have to do much to start digging the foundation

The small units let them have a $100k price point (something that really isn't there in Downtown/Midtown/etc) but $300k for a small place is a bit hard to swallow. You can get a townhouse or a condo for $300k - the Marlowe's condos are starting at $385k now!

I like that they tried to keep some of the history preserved - at least in pictures and the bottles

On the sidewalks front, I'm pretty sure they are the responsibility of the property owner, so that would explain why most are narrow - cheaper to have a small sidewalk and grass than a large sidewalk.

Shutting down a way into downtown? A way that usually doesn't flood when it rains? NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG WITH THAT
Ugh
Am I the only one who uses Preston?

Well if they want a basement level for the parking garage, they don't have much work to do

Any thread not posted in the trains sub forum will inevitably get off track

Those would be for the garage, which should eventually have a tower built on top of it, similar to the Capitol Tower garage

I go to flying for food! Also beer...

There are starting to be more food choices in downtown. For example, Morton's steakhouse is a block south of the future hotel in the foreground

Midtown has a review board? Interesting...

I thought it looked pretty nice in the rain too. Positive addition to downtown for sure

Getting back to the topic of the thread...
This is what happens when you give your city an image. Yeah Dallas can get ugly residential projects every once in a while like all cities, but the general look of them are of much higher quality. Office projects seem a little less than ours though.
What do you mean "give your city an image"? Does Dallas have a zoning code or something that encourages buildings that look nice like this, or is it just what the architects are inspired to do?
Also, remember from the sub forum description:

Forgive my ignorance but what is the height requirement for a "midrise" 4 floors?
I think you can call it a mid rise if you don't want to walk up the stairs to the top floor

I'm sure if this was in midtown we wouldn't be asking for the bus station to be moved
