As someone who works in the area, any additional retail would be welcome

Disturb anyone else that there appears to be a green light to ram directly into the lightrail?

What the hell is up with all of that parking? Is this going to be a satellite parking lot for the school?
Maybe they figured that no one wanted to have a view of the train tracks, and that much parking allows them to have guest parking for the residents. Or the buildings going to be much denser than what it looks like.
(Personally I loved my view of the train tracks in my first apartment...)

I realize that Randall's has had sort of a bad rep since the Safeway acquisition, but does anyone have a feel for how Randall's prices compare to the competition? They used to have a reputation for being a good bit more expensive. I've only been in one recently to pick up one small item so it's hard for me to say.
I go to the Randall's in midtown mainly (walking to a grocery store? In Houston? Blasphemy) and their prices seem about inline with other Krogers the few times I go there. Main issue on the price front would be the card discounts aren't typically as good as at Kroger, and since they do card discounts the without card price is way higher than HEB

Maybe now that there's a staircase framing will go faster.
This brick looks interesting - debris they kept from digging the foundation or a foreshadowing of the outside facade?

Looks like the Main side garage will have something more than just a sheer wall for the sidewalk presence.
Do we have a rendering on what this is going to look like on the main st side facing the light rail?

Having been to conventions in other cities with skybridge/tunnel systems for conferences (Atlanta), I probably only knew about the tunnel system or the skybridges because they connected to the hotel I was in. Of course this was all before Google Maps telling us what lay outside the convention center bubble

The rendering is probably out of date - the work on the building seems to include white tiles on the ground floor.
It does look like they are starting to install the windows and doors though for whatever reason.

Another strong theory seems to be the context influences what colors you see. XKCD illustrated it best:

If you take a color picker or something similar, both cartoon dresses are the exact same.
