Obviously 15 Tower

Colorado ski towns are full of roundabouts, and everyone just seems to get them, even though they all are tourists - mostly from texas

That seems like a lot of work for not much more space.

It would also be nice to get some all day service out to the suburbs

Speaking of Union Station, that was always my favorite entrance to the game irrespective of where my seats were. I love the large hall and tall columns. Is it still an entry point? The last few times I went to games the doors were locked and we were routed to the entrance on Texas. 🙁
They've converted the lobby into the team store, so on game days those doors are closed. On non-game days they are open

This would tie the two neighborhoods together so well and encourage biking and walking.

What I'm hearing is maglev subways throughout the city allowing me to get from downtown to Katy in 5 minutes

When I rode it, I’m pretty sure it was only going about 35 on the dedicated ramp between post oak and NWTC

I’ve seen it on a few real estate flyers (mainly for those townhouses there) but never anything from Metro. I think metro owns that land, and even if they didn’t there’s room in the right away for a platform

Everything is a gym in east downtown it feels like. A new hole in the wall food place would be a nice change

Is this the building the WALD sign is on?

This shopping center used to have a piggly wiggly in it according to my grandmother- she shopped there in the 50s

If anything axiom would want this building to be done yesterday. They’re filling up buildings like a gas filling a vacuum

A decent deal before hand is 6000-9000 points

I didn’t say it’s a simple problem just that it’s a corridor calling for better transportation than a 4 lane street

The problem is westheimer is too congested of a corridor, with both transit and cars, to really work with normal local busses. At the very least, they need some dedicated lanes through the galleria area, and I think a true rapid transit line under westheimer from west chase to downtown would do big numbers

Slightly off-topic, but the intersection of Polk and Delano is hilarious to me. Northeast corner is one of the many newly (and quite well) redesigned stops where the bikeway goes around on the inside.
The even newer stop on the southwest corner? Nothing.
I think they couldnt get the row - they would have had to cut into the townhouses’ front yards. Though it is funny they redid the stop to be “ADA” accesible but didn’t add a bench
-
If the Polk bike lanes are any indication, metro is trying to put floating bus stops at every bus stop with room on dedicated high comfort lanes

Is the crane on the train tracks?

Wow that site plan is nice if they can keep it

I did math and the annuity is like $1.5 million a month, so I would just slowly buy up all the vacant warehouses and develop them as small lot commercial buildings or townhouses. Instead of waiting for a retail development, a store can just rent out a storefront for free for 6 months, mainly so I can get some stores closer to me

It's starting to seem like everything is closed except my work :/
