  1. The lots east of dowling seem to be selling for prices good for townhomes, whereas those west of it are getting priced out from what I can see. Seems like there will be a clear distinction between the residential and commercial parts of eado. Of course, there will be some interspersing.

  3. Units at 1733 Ennis are going up. Will try and get pictures next week. Also, it looks like Peace street is being connected close to where "The Ivy Lofts" site is.

  5. One of the entrances to the garage sits under the building. Perhaps that entrance will be demolished along with the building.
  6. I officed in that building for awhile. It was in bad condition 6-8 years ago.
  7. Perhaps the Van Loc lot project gets back on the docket with all this new development going up.
  8. Greenburg and Associates has two signs up on the land. It must be a brand new listing, because the person that answered the phone doesn't know anything about it.
  9. 1733 Ennis. The old Metro Auto Storage. Excavation is underway. ftp://edrc.houstontx.gov/2014/Applications//2014-1685/SubdivisionPlatPDF_Elite_Homes-Final_Plat-Revised.pdf
  10. I think I saw my car in your video @phillip_white
  11. Did Midtown have any high rises before Randall's? I think EaDo would be better suited for midrises.
  12. On facebook, they are advertising the development as being in downtown as opposed to "EaDo" .... seems a bit deceptive to me.
  13. Is this a project where they build the garage first and then the building at a later point?
  14. I agree with the sentiment of retail following rooftops. I think EaDo is better suited for townhomes and midrises. Having a highrise, full of microunits, just doesn't make the most sense right now. I was once supportive of this project, but now I believe it's the wrong kind of development. I just don't see this going very well for them after the first go round.
  15. Eado still doesn't have a real grocery store. What sense is there to put up a high rise??
  16. Saw dumpsters being either dropped off or picked up today. Possibly both.
