Time for an update.

Interesting. The 60 day sign is down, and there is now the railing for a sidewalk cafe at Live Sports Bar. The race is on - will they open before the Final Four?

There is now a Texas flag flying from the top of the building. Can't really get a good shot with my phone. I do not see a tree.- 1,896 replies

The new planter boxes are now in place on the 200, 300 and 400 blocks of Main. Might be more going south, but I can't confirm at the moment. They appear to be made of rusted steel.

The bike/pedestrian trail is now complete on the south side of the bayou between Sesquicentennial Park and Allen's Landing. They've also upgraded the steps connecting the path to this rear patio behind the Magnolia Brewery building. Somebody put a cafe here please & thanks.

Long rumored, but it appears that the former Falafel Factory space at 914 Prairie is in-fact going to become Frank's Pizza's dedicated delivery location.

Nothing was visible from the outside due to the double sets of doors, but it appears that construction lights are strung from the ceiling and "MCC Company" has reserved the parking spots out in front until the end of February.

Something is afoot inside, work being done. This was formerly the Solero Tapas Bar. MC Management and Development listing is here, including considerable historical detail on the building.

Had coffee and a waffle in Cafe Bene today. Tasty. Starting to get a good feeling about what they are doing in Green Street.

Making progress. Exterior stairs look complete and bayou-side patio is installed. The support pillars are in place for the pedestrian catwalk to Commerce St.

New windows look great, and there are definitely already blinds in some of them (spilled coffee all over self getting this shot). Still working on excavating the hole.
